This Town is Perfectly Normal

My first attempt of the GF style! Turned out better than I thought. I was thinking, after the finale, what would happen if an outsider moved into Gravity Falls. Obviously, they'd ask questions. Why are they rebuilding the town? Are those burn and claw marks? It looked like the apocalypse rolled through here! Which brings up the purpose of the "Never Mind That!" act. Thus, meet Jeremy and Phoebe! Jeremy, as you can probably guess, is an absolute dork. He is constantly making bad puns, spewing quotes from Shakespeare, has serious OCD, and can't tell a lie to save his life. But he's good-hearted kid who just wants a friend. Phoebe is an imaginative, talented girl with a knack for solving problems. As an excellent mathematician and having a lot of common sense overall, she knows something is up. In fact, Jeremy excusing the whole thing like it's no big deal confirms it. And so, the quest for answers begins. I like the idea of having nothing new happening, really; she doesn't find out anything the Pines twins don't know. Really, she's discovering their story. I might even place this story in the future, and for thirty years, the townsfolk of Gravity Falls manage to keep all this a secret... until Phoebe arrives, that is.
